Faraj Khan Pathan

Faraj Khan Pathan was born on March 14, 1999, in Plano, Texas. He was raised in a close-knit family in North Texas.

His interest in computers and cybersecurity began in high school when he started building computers. This early passion led him to explore account security measures for local nonprofit organizations.

Pathan attended the University of Texas at Dallas, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology and Systems. His coursework focused on cybersecurity, identity governance, risk management, and cloud security.

Pathan is a Senior Associate in AI Security and Compliance at Alvarez & Marsal. Previously, he held positions at Deloitte as a Cybersecurity Consultant and Cyber Risk Analyst, supporting financial advisory cybersecurity clients.

Earlier in his career, Pathan gained internship experience as a Cyber Risk Intern at Deloitte and as an IAM Intern at Active Cyber from June to November 2021. He has experience integrating client identity systems with Okta SSO, Ping Federate, and Saviynt Identity Cloud.

His work involves documentation, requirements gathering, client workshops, cloud identity management, stakeholder communication, and compliance operations. Pathan's skills include information security, identity governance, and proficiency in tools such as Saviynt, Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft Project.
